Expert support from VCA consultants with VCA on demand

Does your organization have a VCA (*/**/p) or VCU certificate (Safety Checklist Contractors, SCC)? If so, you are required to have a HSE officer. You can either employ an HSE expert or use the services of an external safety expert. If you don’t have this expertise in-house, DEKRA can offer you on demand VCA expert support service (VCA on demand). It gives you access to your own dedicated VCA consultant at DEKRA and ensures you are in compliance with the various VCA and VCU requirements.

What is VCA and VCU?

The VCA (safety, health and environment checklist for contractors) and VCU (safety, health and environment checklist for temporary work organisations) are both independent standards and part of our OH&S services . Compliance with them demonstrates that high-risk work is being carried out in a safe, healthy and sustainable way. It also ensures that you implement HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) policy properly. The certificates show that you are a reliable partner.

External support when needed

After confirming VCA on demand in a written agreement, a dedicated VCA consultant is assigned. All our VCA consultants have obtained a VOL-VCA or VIL-VCU certificate and the secondary safety expert (Middelbaar Veiligheidskundige; MVK) qualification at the very least.
Show that the right expertise is associated with your organization. You do this with the written agreement and a copy of the VCA consultant's diploma. You must be able to show these records to the auditor of the certification body .
