Product certificates that we issue

An overview of certificates and quality marks

At DEKRA, we issue a wide range of product certificates and product quality marks. This shows your customers and end users that safety, performance and quality are important to you. In addition, with the right product certificates you demonstrate that your products have been tested by an independent test institute, with the knowledge and resources to carry out product testing on all relevant aspects.

DEKRA's own product certificates

DEKRA has its own product certificates and quality marks for safe products. Our product certificates are specially developed for international markets, such as the United Kingdom, Canada or the United States.

DEKRA has been appointed by the United Kingdom of Great Britain’s Office for Product Safety & Standards to act as an approved body under the UKEX Regulations. The appointment allows DEKRA Certification UK Ltd to perform conformity assessment against the UKEX requirements.

Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL)

DEKRA is a Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) by OSHA (U.S.) and a Certification Body accredited by the SCC (Canada). We support you to access these markets with the right product certificates, when your product complies with the relevant standards.

Product certificates FAQ

What are product certificates?
Companies that want to manufacture products and sell them in the market need to go through the process of product certification to ensure that their products are safe and reliable. Product certificates demonstrate that your product meets pre-defined criteria or standards. The process is carried out by a third-party organization or certification body, like DEKRA.
