Secondment
What is secondment?
Secondment means that you are an interim professional who is seconded to a client company for a specified period of time. As an interim professional, you do know what type of work you will be doing, just not which clients you will be working for. On average, an assignment lasts between four and ten months, during which you help the client and your temporary colleagues solve a capacity problem.
As an interim professional, you will work for different clients, so you will need to have a certain degree of flexibility. You are able to adapt quickly in a new environment and find it motivating. You actively engage with the organization, sharing their perspective and bringing the experience you have gained with previous clients to your next assignment. This ensures relatively rapid professional development compared to a long-term work environment.
As an interim professional, you support clients in:
resolving a temporary capacity problem (usually unanticipated) due to the absence of one or more employees due to illness, maternity leave or some other form of leave;
providing a flexible workforce so a client can catch up on backlogs;
accommodating peak workloads where it is not yet clear how long it will last and whether permanent replacements or additional long-term employees will be hired.
Employment contract

Independent contractor
We offer the opportunity to be associated with DEKRA People as an independent contractor, with a choice of different assignments. You will experience the benefits of our network and participate in the great events and knowledge sessions we organize on a regular basis. During the entire process, from the idea to selecting an assignment. we share market knowledge, we help you determine a rate, we look for a suitable assignment and we remain your partner during the assignment. In addition, we always pay your invoice within 10 working days!
