Three parties work together to improve quality standards of audicians
DEKRA and StAr strengthen quality assurance in the hearing care industry with renewed seal of approval
DEKRA, together with StAr, is taking a new step in improving quality within the hearing aid industry in the Netherlands. As partners of Stichting Audicienregister (StAr), DEKRA and Kiwa are working to further professionalize the sector by renewing and testing the quality standards for hearing care professionals. This collaboration emphasizes the importance of independent audits and a joint commitment to taking customer-oriented care to the next level.
StAr focuses on revising the ' StAr Certified Audician' seal of approval, introducing higher quality standards. Compliance with the revised guidelines is monitored at every level of the industry. With their joint expertise in certification, DEKRA and Kiwa are making an important contribution to the introduction of a robust assessment framework. This framework not only provides control and transparency, but also encourages improvements in the areas of processes and client-focused work. DEKRA endorses the importance of objective and methodical assessment for a uniform and reliable approach in the sector.
“With the step-by-step improvement of the seal of approval and independent testing, together with Kiwa and StAr, we are taking quality in the hearing aid industry to an even higher level,” says Frank Salemink, Manager Sales & Business Development at DEKRA Audit. Guido van Woerkom, president of StAr, is pleased with the cooperation: “External testing of our guidelines strengthens confidence in the quality of hearing care.”
